I have always known that I wanted to have a career or job which involved working with people and making a difference. My background is in primary education where I worked full time as a teacher whilst bringing up my 2 amazing children, pretty much most of the time as a single mum. I understand the “impossible balancing act” of juggling work and family life and the toll it can take on your health and wellbeing! I also know how difficult it can be to put yourself first and allow yourself the time and headspace to rest and recharge. Discovering the wellbeing benefits of regular reflexology and how it can support you and your family through life's ups and downs, inspired me to retrain as a reflexologist.
I have a Level 5 Practitioner Diploma in Reflexology which includes specialist training in fertility & maternity care, palliative care, stress and anxiety. I am trained in The Bergman Method of Facial Reflexology and I am a qualified practitioner and instructor in Gentle Touch ™ Reflexology for Babies and Children.
I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, and I am DBS checked. As a member of a number of these professional bodies I am required to carry out a specific number of hours of “Continuous Professional Development” each year so watch this space for new therapies and specialisms I have to offer.
I am delighted to say that I am now a Neal’s Yard Remedies Consultant. I use Neal's Yard Remedies, a natural and organic British skincare brand, both professionally and personally. As well as smelling and feeling divine on the skin, NYR products are ethically sourced and made in small batches to ensure quality and consistency. A selection of NYR products are available to buy in my treatment room or through my webshop - click here, or on the NYR logo to visit. Please ask me about VIP discounts.
Reflexology is safe, non-invasive holistic treatment which stimulates the body’s own natural healing abilities to restore balance and well-being. Reflexology is based on the theory that the body and all its systems and organs is reflected in the feet, hands and head. By using a combination of special pressure techniques, a reflexologist can soothe or stimulate reflex points on the feet, hands, ears and face which correspond to all the systems and organs of the body to promote deep relaxation and wellbeing.

Reflexology treats the individual as a whole creating a state of harmony in body and mind. Whether you have a specific health issue or simply wish to feel less stressed, more relaxed and more energised, reflexology can help to restore the balance in your life.
Reflexology is a gentle relaxing treatment suitable for all ages from babies to adults. It can help release areas of tension in the body and is adapted to your specific needs.
Taking time away from your normal routines and thoughts for reflexology can give you space and distance to feel calmer allowing your body and mind to reset during stressful times.
“The natural healing force within each of us is the greatest force in getting well.” Hippocrates
